"Bonefish"

Are there any Bonefish on Pine Island Sound? Not really, but if you are vacationing on Sanibel or Captiva and want to catch a "Bone" we can make it happen. Over the last few years I have been spending lots of time in the Upper Keys and Biscayne Bay where I have guided some of my customers to Bonefish, Tarpon and Permit.

A 2 1/2 hour drive will put us in some of the best Bonefish flats available anywhere. Bonefish are one of the most exciting species on the flats. With blazing speed and great strength,the"Bones" can run 100yds on their first run even before you realize what happened! They love shrimp and other crustaceans, so any fly resembling their diet can entice the "Great Ghost of the Flats".
